Titans are dead

I kept my hopes up for, what some would say, far too long. There was a path. It was hypothetical, but it was there. And now it’s dead and the Tennessee Titans have been eliminated from the playoffs. 

I should have known a little better this was going to happen, and i was expecting it, but it still hurt. 

It’s a hard realization to know your team is bad and then to accept that as reality. I was living in fantasy land for a long time trying to spinzone and rationalize how we’re not bad. But the haters have won. Titans are dead. I’m dead. It’s over. We’ll see ya next season playoffs ( i’m still delusional ). 

We had opportunities to win this game, no CJ, no Tank, not even Nico and we still lost.

To Case Keemun. No disrespect to Case he’s a legend and people love to forget him going 12-3 with the Vikings in 2017 ( this might just become a Case Keemun blog ). Not to mention Devin Singletary having 115 rushing yards and Noah Brown being the MVP. 

If you can’t tell i’m trying to avoid talking about how bad the Titans were, but fine you’ve twisted my arm.

Derrick Henry went 16 rushes for 9 yards. Worst in his career. Levis had one of his worst games as far as some decision making and trying to do too much, then he got first degree murdered. O line had possibly their worst game of the season, which really says a lot. There’s just so many holes on this team that hinder the actually good players from doing anything and it’s sad. We’ve gotta be up there with the team who has ruined the most good players, I need to crunch the numbies on that. I just wanna say again that Derrick Henry had 9 yards. On the season, he’s hit BEHIND the line of scrimmage on over 50% of rushes. That just makes me so sad. And honestly impressed, you have to try to be that bad I’ve never seen anything like it.

At the end of the day maybe this is good. Better draft picks, I don’t have to care anymore, everything is dead. Defense played well. Harold Landry is back to old Harold, Treylons is alive, Mason Kinsey ( 😈 ) is returning punts, we have things to look forward to. 

I’m in the part of writing this now where i’m getting sad again so i’m gonna call it. Short blog for today.

I will be in person at next week’s game against the Seahawks, so be prepared for a big bad analysis.
